Done
-- SEO help brick thing optimized \
-- now it works in the admin panel too \
-- The carrot character is widely used for footnotes, so this shouldn't be the character for ^bold^. My current preferences... tilde _underscore_ =equal= +plus+ [People are going to be reading a lot in an editor, as they're not going to constantly switch back and forth between admin and non-admin, so anything like this should be very intuitive to look at in code-form. Things like &s& are very ugly when reading]. Perhaps stuff like this could be an option in the _defs file (e.g. bold_char = '+')
>> ~ chosen; cannot do the _defs file thing though because making the button "B" dynamic is a pain \
-- some mobile navbar changes \
-- new> The tabs still don't seem to work in the beta bricks. Was this fixed before?
>> Looking at the cause, I would say nope. Now fixed though \
-- ok all those errors at the top after the SEO change are now fixed \
-- done the 1112 < ^ v > * ? # in .c F 0 1 2 X S M L X thing;
-- A line with just double slashes and nothing else shouldn't appear in the bricks. Also, lines with double slashes and stuff after appear as blank lines, not existentially nonexistent lines as they should be
>> done \
>>> It works too well, I can't break it, hence it's making me feel bad about my creative skill. I'll try a lot harder later.
-- all "grid" is become "map" \
-- "skipFron test" is now working too but you may have to reload the page to load correctly the CSS \
-- Could you have it go automatically to "view brick" after a brick is done editing? There's no reason someone would "save brick" and then go right back and keep editing, and even if they wanted to, they can still do so with one click by hitting "edit" on the viewed brick. thx.
>>> done; also for chapters, books, grids, and beta bricks; I could only have done this through javascript redirect due to a lot of reasons, tell me if this is a problem \
-- grid/map terms changed again \
-- skip bricks thing done \
-- skip bricks thing really done; you now stop only at the end of the last book \
-- you can now insert TABs when you edit bricks and grids \
-- changed various captions to make easier and clearer the navigation on admin and normals page; you should always know where you are now;
-- when you're in the admin panel you can just click on the logo at the top to go to the admin index; when you're not in admin pages, the logo will link again to the real home page \
-- fixed some minor things for beta bricks \
To do
A right arrow shouldn't be red if there's a brick following it. As of now, the right arrows at bricks at the end of all novas "zz.z77" are always red, even if there's a brick following it (e.g. 13-177 should not have a red right arrow if brick 13-211 exists). ~squish
I now know how to solve that "change style and if you go back it's like before" thing; so I put here this "todo" too
\~ Chip \\
HTML doesn't seem validated for some pages??.. at least one of them.
>> validation is the last thing to check (since a lot of pages are still going to change). The validation link is there just to be there.
>> I've now validated at least the brick page \
>>> is the mobile code valid as .mobi code, btw? like could i put a mobile version of skipfron as it is now on the .mobi domain?
>>>> Nope; i mean, you could do it anyway, it should work on most of the mobiles anyway.
>>>>> What happens is that certain sites get audited when they discover your code isn't 100% mobile compliant. Then you have 60 days to comply before the site is removed. If that happened I'm not sure I could go back to what I'm doing now, which is a bit sneaky (forwarding the domain so they can't find it). Is making the code compliant something that could easily be done in that 60 days? I.e. could you be on call for that?

Chip's todo list on his HD (and that is enough for the next 378 years).
